Gaston’s Reflections.

The Blue Jays manager, Cito Gaston has around 6 weeks still left in his managerial career. His only regret is that he is convinced the next few years with the Jays could be a lot of fun and if he were younger he’d stay on.

Gaston said when he was talking with Mike Scioscia, manager of the Los Angeles Angels, that Scioscia asked him what he would do. Cito told him that he thought it could be fun being around for the next few years simply because he believes the Jays are a team on their way up and developing quickly. The manager of the Blue Jays believes he is getting a little senior to stick around.

Cito made the decision to retire at the end of this season back in January. He explained he still really likes it and is feeling great but doesn’t regret his decision.

Cito will be 67 next year and claims that he still has some things to do while he can still walk.

Cito believes that whoever replaces him, the Jays will be in good hands.
