If life is so unfair, then why am I going to the Mormon general conference tomorrow?

And be there, like right there at the conference center and stuff?
A friend had an extra ticket and I couldn’t be happier xD

Maybe this will be an answer to one of your earlier questions regarding your "indifference" to the 12 & 70’s. I think it will be!!

It truly is a great experience and there is nothing like the quite hush and reverence and immediate spirit that settles when the meeting begins, and also to be surrounded by a room full of saints, it’s amazing.

Then tomorrow you will have an experience that I have never had. I’m almost jealous. But as I listen on cable tomorrow, I can eat snacks, scratch, and belch all I please — but then I won’t have the experience of the same intense witness of the Spirit that you will have. God bless you, and enjoy yourself.

Then God must love you Princess. You are one blessed princess. Wish I was going to be there. Instead I have the DVR set to BYU channel. Only thing I’ll have to wait till later to see it because I am going to a writing and editing workshop instead.

I’m sorry about your situation. It’s not like you can turn down a friend, unless you can come up with a good excuse.

You just have to accept that bad things sometimes happen to everyone, and sometimes you just have to suck it up.

Sneak in some caffiene pills or something. There’s not going to even be any coffee to help keep you awake. Say they’re for your back.

Have fun. Its a pretty neat thing. I’ve been a few times.
But tomorrow I get to watch in my pj’s :)

Ooh, while you’re there, during the priesthood session go to the Ladies night at the deseret book in the mall. (the one by temple square). They get a lot of well known church artists and authors there to do book signings and concerts in the store. SO much fun.

I also had the opportunity to go to the Morning session of General Conference. I think it was great and felt the spirit so strong expecially when President Monson came in the room. There were great talks given and i am sure that the rest of the sessions of general conference will be great to. I do not think that life is unfair.
