How to run for 12 minutes wihout taking a break?

Posted on July 9th, 2010 by admin in taking minutes | 4 Comments »

My gym teacher makes us run 12 minutes around the school, so that makes like 1 mile. But we can’t stop, or he is going to make our note fall. Any tips to run 12 minutes? Anyone?

There are no shortcuts with fitness. You have to put in the work. Get out on the track after school and do some training. 12 minutes is not a long time to run.

Why is my computer taking several minutes to load a page?

Posted on July 6th, 2010 by admin in taking minutes | 1 Comment »

My computer is running extremely slow. I have 76 processes running at the same time, Do I need all these? What do they do? Which ones should I eliminate? Is this the reason everything on my computer is slowing down? My OS is windows XP and I am not very computer savvy. Any help would be appreciated.

In regards to the processes, I’m guessing you’re looking at the Task Manager where the number is displayed at the bottom.

On the top of the Task Manager there are 4 tabs. The first is "Application". About the tasks, a lot of those are needed for the system to run. You can view them by clicking the "Processes" tab. I suggest you don’t delete any of them.

Also – do you have a download limit? If you go over your monthly limit, then that will slow your computer down.

Mario Kart Wii – Wi-Fi Race 1 (Regional)

C-Could it be? A new video?!

READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU COMMENT AND SOUND LIKE AN IDIOT OR I WILL LAUGH AT YOU.

And yes, I’m aware of all the typos ;P. Have to do better editting next time.

FYI, the blue text near the end reads “And just so you notice, one or more of those green shells I throw hits Chaos, who was the guy they knocked me off at the start of the race”.

And as for the two minutes of waiting for the race, it was more or less put there to show how long it generally takes me to start a Wi-Fi race (which isn’t that long IMO, but I’ve heard lots of other people complaining about it taking minutes to connect to people, when I usually connect to a ton of people in 10 seconds or less).

And if anyone has any suggestions for making the text easier to read, please tell me :3.

Let’s hope YouTube doesn’t kill the quality more than it needs to.

Too late.

Will try to make the next video better quality :/.

I have a Hp pavilion ze4800 laptop using xp and IE which was working fine then for no reason starting taking approx 40 minutes to boot up once booted works ok but after a few hours starts lagging up. I have tried re formatting the hard drive but this has not helped any ideas please.

Try Checking your Hardware, especially your Hard Disk. It may have problems. Because even A Laptop running on vista with only 256 RAM will not take 40 minutes to startup.

Can anyone tell me why my monitor is taking 2 minutes to come out of ’standby mode’?

Posted on June 26th, 2010 by admin in taking minutes | 1 Comment »

It used to start up immediately, now it’s taking about 2 minutes.
It’s a Dell 15-inch flat screen monitor.

Is the monitor going bad?
Is the graphics card going bad?
Or….what?

Is there any testing of my system that I can try on my own?
I’ve got WinXP.

thx!

Right click on desktop< click properties< screen saver and look for monitor power < click power < system standby should have never, one, two, etc minutes until going into standby mode. Download.com has a good diagnostic tool. Fresh diagnose.

does it matter that i was 1 minute late taking my birth control pill and the next day i was 10 minutes late?

Posted on June 23rd, 2010 by admin in taking minutes | 3 Comments »

Tuesday night I was 1 minute late taking my birth control pill. Wednesday night I was 10 minutes late. I am taking Trinessa. Does it matter that i was late 2 days in a row?

That’s fine. Just make sure the time you take it late doesn’t keep increasing.
