How can I make some of my Joomla website URLs password protected without someone being a "member"?

Posted on July 26th, 2010 by admin in minutes template | 2 Comments »

I have used an outside source (website) that lets me type in the particular url I wanted password protected but with joomla it does not work unless someone is a member of my page. When I disable the page the site module works only for a couple of minutes and goes away so I cannot show an exclusive URL to someone. I also cannot preview a different template other than default when page is disabled what can I do?

If the person doesn’t know the login and password, how will they log in? (Anyone who types in the valid login and the valid password is – as far as the program is concerned – that member.)

How can I create a website without any effort?

Posted on July 23rd, 2010 by admin in minutes template | 6 Comments »

I despise website design, it takes ages and is very annoying. Gone are the days when people used Frontpage, but are there any apps or ways I can make one today?
Just a template I can fill in or something?
I want a website I can make in minutes not days.

Thanks for your help.

Ask and pay someone else to do it for you.

A good interactive website takes from 4 weeks to several months to develop.

Only amateurs use templates and WYSIWYG editors, and make amateurish websites.

You can’t get slim swallowing pills and greasy burgers lying on a sofa watching TV.
Change your diet, exercise, sell your TV (but if that’s too much effort, don’t complain if you stay fat.)

Sales Pages for Any Wordpress Theme – In 5 Minutes or Less

Do you love the flexibility and ease of use (not to mention the SEO benefits) that come from building your websites using WordPress blogging software? I dont know about you, but I use it for nearly every website I create – except for my product sales pages.

That has all changed now.

Now, every word and image on my product sales page is easily managed through the same WordPress dashboard that I use to manage the rest of my website, but I have the selling benefits of a traditional sales page:

* No Navigation Links
* No Unnecessary Graphics
* Laser Focused Sales Presentation
* Polished Professional Design

I didnt spend hours tweaking my WordPress theme settings to make this all happen and I didnt have to switch my site over to some magical theme for Internet marketers either. I simply uploaded 6 little files into the main folder of my active theme and changed one single setting on my sales page. The entire process took just a few minutes.

Are you creating and managing separate sales pages for sites you are running with WordPress? Have you spent hours tweaking your current WordPress setup to try and create a sales page (or even worse, using a sales page inside the template of your current blog theme with all the headers, footers, and navigation cluttering the page and distracting your potential customers?)

My Wordpress Sales Page Solution might be right for you too…

Imagine the time youll save creating and managing your salespages. No more opening up HTML editors and FTP programs to tweak the copy or change the offer. Just login to your WordPress dashboard and edit the page. Adding videos, audios, and pictures is as easy as dropping them into any other post. You can take advantage of many plugins that are available for WordPress too!

Spreadsheet warriors – please help a n00b – template for daily billing & recording activities @ work -?

Posted on July 21st, 2010 by admin in minutes template | 1 Comment »

There is this thing I once saw on a computer at some office. Every six minutes or so It would prompt you and ask what you were doing and enter into a timesheet. This was basically to keep track of client billing and to know how much to charge clients (as they paid per minute)

Is there some sort of excel template I could find where I can enter details every five minutes or so (I don’t expect it to prompt me)

I can find templates for budgets, and weekly schedules, but nothing with a daily breakdown.

I would appreciate help from all those spreadsheet warriors out there.

Thanks for answers.

Actually you can build 1 yourself, here’s the steps
1. if your day start at say 9:00 am, put 9:00 am (space beteen 9:00 and am)in A3, in A4 put this formula = A3+1/288 , copy A4 down the column, then you’ll get a column of time in 5min. interval
2. if you want to print out the grid with the time, click the preview button, click setup button, sheet tab, check the box left to Gridlines, click ok button, click close button.
3. to prepare space for entry of each time slot, expand 1 or more column’s column width from B onward to the right to match the page right boundary, in here we only expand column B width. After back from preview, you can see the page boundary on the right of column I, click the boundary between column B and C and drag to the right page boundary, when you add a column header in B2, then in the preview you got a full page of gridlines with column A as time, and column B as enter grids.
4. then you can add the title in A1 like = "Work Journal for "&TEXT(NOW(),"dddd, dd mmm, yyyy") , besides, format the font, border, color etc to make it easy to work with in long term.
5. save the file as excel template, *.xlt , then everyday you can click the template and save the date as a file name to log your work.
Hope this helps.

Who wrote the paper describing how to introduce communist ideas into United States Government?

Posted on July 18th, 2010 by admin in minutes template | 8 Comments »

I tried this a few minutes ago and obviously no one understood. It was written by two professors in the 1960’s. It lays out EXACTLY how to introduce communism into the United States through welfare programs and anti-constitution laws. Its called the " ? & ? Theorem. I’ve read it before so I know it exists. Saul Alinsky considered their theorem a template for his community organizing efforts. Its also NOT the Communist Manifesto. I can’t find their names. Can someone help?

Puzzled by Obama’s Missteps? Read the Cloward-Piven Strategy

http://cloward-piven.com/

The Cloward & Piven strategy was developed by 1960’s radicals who hoped to overthrow the government by causing financial ruin, for the purpose of installing a Marxist state in its place.

Doesn’t Obama realize that the facts of history clearly show that national crisis results in fascism (Hiter, Moussolini) as often as Marxism (Stalin, Mao)?

When he applies the Cloward & Piven strategy, doesn’t he realize he runs the risk of establishing a fascist state, when the population identifies the left as the cause of the crisis?

Excel formula – hours as a fractional result between two time?

Posted on July 15th, 2010 by admin in minutes template | 1 Comment »

I’m looking for an Excel formula that will calculate hours as a FRACTIONAL result, rather than whole hours or as hours and minutes. For example, I need the result between 12:00 PM and 2:15 PM to be expressed as 2.25 hours rather than 2:15 (two hours and 15 minutes). This is for a timesheet template for work.

Say you have 2:15 in cell A1 and 12:00 in cell A2. Then your formula should be:
(A1-A2)*24

Microsoft office word 2003 Drop Down List?

Posted on July 12th, 2010 by admin in minutes template | 2 Comments »

I would like to pick out names using a drop down list from a committee member list to insert into a table within the minutes template. Anyone have any idea how to do this?

{ FORMCHECKBOX }
{ FORMDROPDOWN }
{ FORMTEXT }

These fields insert a check box, a drop-down list, or a text box in a form (form: A document that contains fill-in blanks, or form fields, in which you enter information. For example, you can create an online registration form in Microsoft Word that uses drop-down lists from which users can select entries.). You cannot insert or modify these fields directly. They’re inserted by the Check Box Form Field , Text Form Field , and Drop-Down Form Field buttons on the Forms toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.). To edit these fields, you must use the Form Field Options button on the Forms toolbar.
