Accordion Lessons – Seriously worth it?
Immediately after having accordion lessons, which assisted me to learn how to play the accordion, I started performing with a local folk band. I find performing live music in front of others probably the most pleasant element of being a musician. Luckily the accordion is absolutely not typically the lead musical instrument therefore the other members belonging to the group cover my lack of skill.
We play and perform locally and try and do a few charity occasions during the year as well. We have superb fun playing mainly cover versions of well known folk tunes but we also have composed several of our own songs. I would recommend the accordion to anyone as I find it an incredibly exciting musical instrument to play. Even so certainly get some good accordion lessons if doable or order the on-line program I got as your progress in mastering it will be pretty slow otherwise and may possibly put you off actively playing the instrument.
